Definition and short
description.
Simple
Past is a form of the verb that shows that the action occurred in the past.
The
"simple past" is always used to refer to when something happened, so
it is associated with certain temporary expressions.
A
restaurant is a business which prepares and serves food and drinks to customers
in exchange for money. Meals are generally served and eaten on the premises,
but many restaurants also offer take-out and food delivery services, and some
offer only take-out and delivery. Restaurants vary greatly in appearance and
offerings, including a wide variety of cuisines and service models ranging from
inexpensive fast food restaurants and cafeterias to mid-priced family
restaurants, to high-priced luxury establishments.
